Modi to stress unified response to Afghan situation

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Indian prime minister is expected to call for a unified global response to handling the situation in Afghanistan at the upcoming G-20 Summit.

Ways of combating the challenges of climate change and the coronavirus pandemic will be discussed at the two-day summit in Italy on October 30 and 31..

Premier Narendra Modi is likely to underline a united approach to the situation in Afghanistan and tackle the challenges of Covid-19 and climate change.

A statement from the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi said Modi would be travelling to Rome and Glasgow from October 29 to November 2 to attend the 16th G-20 Summit and the World Leaders’ Summit of COP-26 respectively.
