NELLI (Pajhwok): The deteriorated economic condition has hampered the market of handicraft items in central Daikundi province which were famous in the past, an official said on Tuesday.
Information Director Khuda Bakhsh Seerat handicraft women have progressed in late years, adding that over 30 women’s handicraft shops were opened in Nelli, the provincial capital.
He acknowledged the market of handicraft products had declined to its lowest but its buying and selling were still continued.
Seerat pledged to work hard for the revival of the market for handicraft products and said with the passage of time situation would return to normalcy.
