DRS to be in place for Afghanistan series: BCB

KABUL (Pajhwok): The decision review system (DRS) will be put in place during the upcoming series against Afghanistan, says the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

“We will have DRS during the home series against Afghanistan,” the BCB head said in an interview with a cricket news website on Wednesday.

Cricbuz quoted Nizamuddin Chowdhury told Cricbuzz on Wednesday that Afghanistan would land in Dhaka on February 12.

The Afghans will attend a five-day conditioning camp before the series involving three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and two T20Is.

The BCB has accepted Afghanistan’s request to arrange for them a conditioning camp that is planned in Sylhet.

Part of the ICC ODI Super League, the three ODIs will be played on February 23, 25 and 27 in Chattogram.

Later on, the squads will move to Dhaka for the 20-over matches, slated for March 2 and 4 at the Sher-i-Bangla National Stadium.
