Afghanistan receives $32 million in humanitarian aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Central Bank has confirmed the receipt of $32 million in humanitarian assistance by the Afghanistan International Bank (AIB).

The 17th package of humanitarian assistance worth 32 million reached Kabul on Sunday, the central bank said in a statement.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the government, tweeted the humanitarian aid package had been delivered in cash.

This brings to $540 million the total amount of cash delivered to AIB. The central bank urged the UN to help it in interacting with foreign countries.
