Turkish, Italian &Dutch FMs discuss Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has conferred on the situation in Afghanistan with his Italian and Dutch counterparts Luigi Di Maio and Ben Knapen.

After the meetings in Latvia’s capital, Cavusoglu tweeted: “Discussed our relations and regional issues, particularly Libya; Afghanistan.”

The Turkish minister wrote: ”In Riga, discussed our economic-commercial relations and the recent developments in Afghanistan with my Dutch colleague Ben Knapen.”

Cavusoglu is in Riga to attend a two-day meeting of NATO foreign ministers, who are likely to discuss the security situation in Afghanistan.
