Afghan students stabbed in India, robbed of cell phones

KABUL (Pajhwok): Four motorcyclists have stabled two Afghan students and robbed them of their mobile phones in the Indian city of Bangalore.

The Times of India reported the incident on Saturday and identified the Afghan nationals as Quran Ali and Mohammed Shahid.

Hailing from Kabul, they are studying Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) at the Bangalore University.

They came under attack while walking back to their rooms from a friend’s place. Four motorcyclists asked them to surrender their cell phones.

The miscreants injured Ali and Shahid with knives and snatched their mobile phones, the newspaper quoted police as saying.
