578 tonnes of edibles, winter kits handed over to Afghans

PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A UK-based aid agency has delivered 578 tonnes of edibles and winter kits in humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.

In collaboration with the Pak-Afghan Forum, the Muslim Hands delivered the humanitarian aid to Afghan counterparts and officials in Torkham.

Muslim Hands Regional Director Rahimullah Khan thanked the government of Pakistan for collaboration with it on the aid programme.

Officials from the Muslim Hands, Pakistan and Afghanistan were present on the occasion.
